2009 Ridley Owners Club Rally

Registration: Although pre-registration is not required, it

recommended. You can pre-register for the event at ROC
site.
Pre-registration has been enabled and is highly encouraged.

Wednesday, 10 June 2009 - This will be the day that people will start arriving for the event. Starting at 1800, there will be a Meet and Greet session at:

The Governor's Inn is the featured hotel for this event. This hotel is centrally located. We were able to negotiate a group rate at the hotel. The group rates are $62/night for Wednesday and Thursday. The rates are $88/night for Friday and Saturday. When you call be sure to tell them you are with the ROC Rally and they will give you the group rate.
There are hundreds of hotels in Pigeon Forge or Sevierelly, TN. This is a tourist area, so you will not have a hard time finding a place to stay.
- Hang out with other Ridley Owners
- Cruise up and down Parkway, if you can handle the traffic
- Shop at the Tanger Outlet
- Visit the local museum
Thursday, 11 June 2009 - Meet at Governor's Inn. @ 0900. We will be leaving at 0930, don't be late. Gas up BEFORE you get there. This will be the starting location for all group rides. Our first group ride will be to Cades Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains National Forest.
We will leave the Governor's Inn and head west to
Veterans Blvd.
Head South on Veterans Blvd to Teaster Lane
Take Teaster to East Wars Valley Road
Take that to 321/73 West
Stay on 73 until Laurel Creek Rd and take that to Cades Cove
Stop at the Cades Cove Visitors center
Take Laurel Creek Rd and stop at the Sugar Lands Visitor Center
From here the ride back to Governor's Inn is just north on 441.
We will not be able to ride as a group on 441. The
traffic is too heavy. Pair up and make sure everyone gets
back to the starting point, Governor's Inn.

Friday, 12 June 2009 - Meet at Governor's Inn. @ 0900. We will be leaving at 0930, don't be late. Gas up BEFORE you get there. This will be the starting location for all group rides. Our second group ride will be around Douglas lake.

Head North on Veterans Blvd to 411
Head West on 411 to 66
Head North on 66 to Douglas Dam Road (338)
Head East on Douglas Dam Road
Head East onto 139 (Douglas Dam Road)
Head South onto 92 (Gay Street) in Dandridge
Head West onto 411 to Veterans
Head South on Veterans to Ridge Road
Return to the starting point, Governor's Inn.

Saturday, 13 June 2008 - Meet at Governor's Inn. @ 0900. We will be leaving at 0930, don't be late. Gas up BEFORE you get there. This will be the starting location for all group rides. Our third group ride will be Clingman's Dome and Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.
We will leave the Governor's Inn and head west to
Veterans Blvd.
Head North on Veterans Blvd to 411
Head East on 411 to 416
Head South on 416 to 321
Head West on 321 to Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail
We will stop at this location for a specified amount of time
Head West on 321 to 441
Head South on 441 and go to Clingman's Dome
We will stop at this locaiton for a specified amount of time
From
here the ride back to
Governor's Inn is just north on 441. We will not be able to
ride as a

make sure
everyone gets back to the starting point, Governor's
Inn.

Each day after we return to the Governor's Inn, you will be free to do what you want for the rest of the evening. There are many shows, shopping, tourist activities in Pigeon Forge. Be advised, there will be heavy traffic on Parkway.
